Self Check-in

In this article we describe how it works and where to use the Self Check-in form

1. Prerequisites

In order to use Self Check-in, the module must be activated.

2. The process

There are 2 possibilities how to use the Self Check-In form.

  • Via Pre Stay-Email
  • Directly at the reception

2.1 Pre Stay-Email

In the Pre-Stay-Email, sent to the customer 2-3 days before arrival, you can enter the link and password to check in.

When the customer clicks on the link and enters the password, they are redirected to the registration form, where they can enter their information. The fields in this form can be configured to be as visible and/or mandatory as desired. The data entered will then be visible in CASY and can be used for police notifications or to request tickets for transportation. (TicinoTicket)

2.2 Directly at the reception

It is possible to have the same form filled out at the reception as well.

In CASY you can call up the Check-In form by clicking on the corresponding icon.

At this point, you can hand the PC or tablet to the client to fill in their data. Once you save your information, you are redirected to a page where you must enter the standard password “123456.” This step is necessary to prevent the client from viewing information not accessible to them in CASY.
